Combining Shapes
Combining shapes differs from grouping objects; instead of maintaining a separate object identity for each shape involved in the complex shape, a single, indivisible shape is created. From the perspective of shape formatting, a combined shape is treated as a single object.

Forms
Shapes that have thichness is called a form.Forms are mostly 3 dimensional(3D) which means they have:
1.length
2.breath
3.height(depth)

Geometric Forms

Geometric forms are mosly symmetrical.Examples will be a cone,a cylinder.

Colours

Always remember that colours is the first thing ppl notice, hence it is veri important when designer wans to choose a colour for their product.

The Colour Wheel shows the relationship between colours. The relative positions of colours is an indication of how they will work together. Complementary schemes, for instance, are based on using colours that are opposite each other on the colour wheel. Harmonious schemes are based on colours near each other on the colour wheel. There are over two million recognisable colours and they can all be made from the primary colours in the colour wheel.

These are the colours:

Colours association

sometimes some colours are onli suitable some product.Examples will be bright colours are suitable for children's toys.

Textures

Different products have different textures. Some are rough while others are smooth.

the disk was smooth while the tyres are rough.
Proportion
Sizes-big,tall,small,short,wide and narrow. This are all toking about sizes.
A good design-
1.should have good proportions when parts of different sizes look right together.

today i am going to talk about aesthetics:

examples are:

1.lines

2.shapes

3.forms

4.colours

5.textures

6.proportions

LINES

There are many types of lines.Lines can also affect your feeling about design.

There are:

-vertical lines

-wide and jagged lines

-curved lines

-slanted lines

-short and crisp lines

-lightning bolts or electrical signals

-wavy lines

-horizontal lines

-delicate and elegant lines

SHAPES

All shapes are two dimensional(2D).There are GEOMETRIC SHAPES,ORGANIC SHAPE,COMBINING SHAPES.

GEOMETRIC SHAPES

Organic shapes

Organic shapes are shapes with a natural look and a flowing and curving appearance. For this reason, they are often also referred to as curvilinear shapes. Examples of organic shapes include the shapes of leaves, plants, and animals.
Organic shapes are not the same as rectilinear shapes, which are also called geometric shapes. Unlike organic shapes, most rectilinear shapes are angular. The only exceptions are oval and circular shapes. Most geometric shapes are manmade, though honeycombs and crystals are also considered to be geometric despite the fact that they are made in nature.
Artists utilize organic shapes and geometric shapes in different ways. When attempting to create a piece that looks natural, flowing, soft, peaceful, or calming, organic shapes are generally the shapes of choice. When attempting to create a sense of chaos, anger, or rigidity, geometric shapes are used. Geometric shapes may also be used to create abstract interpretations of things that would normally be depicted as organic shapes.
Organic shapes are also often used in gardening and landscaping. When creating a natural landscape, the natural look of organic shapes is desired. This can be incorporated in the layout of the flowers and other plants, in the design of the garden trim, and in the shape of ponds or other extras added to the garden. Conversely, a formal garden implements geometric shapes in order to create a clean and crisp look.
Organic shapes, whether utilized in art or in landscaping, can be difficult to create. Although it seems like they would be simpler to create than geometric shapes, which are rigid and precise, it can also be difficult to create organic shapes that truly look as if they came from nature. A curving or flowing line that curves too far can look manmade and detract from the natural look of the piece of art or the landscaping. Therefore, it can be rather time consuming to create organic shapes that look natural.
